Advantages and disadvantages of flexible screens

一,Different light-emitting principles

1. Flexible screen: Flexible OLED does not need a backlight layer like an LCD screen, as long as it is powered, it can be bright, so OLED is like a screen with a combination of countless small colored light bulbs.

2. Rigid screen: The light-emitting principle of rigid LCD mainly depends on the backlight layer, which is usually composed of a large number of LED backlights. A colored film is added on the backlight layer, and the white light passes through the colored film to show color. The liquid crystal layer controls the degree of opening and closing by changing the magnitude of the voltage, and then controls the magnitude of the emitted light, so as to adjust the ratio of the three primary colors of red, green and blue, and finally present the desired color.
